Questions Answered About Cat Sitting & Pet Day care Services
How many times a day would you come visit my cat?
We can visit your cat either once or twice a day, it all depends on how much attention your little darling needs. Visits include a feeding, tummy rubs, kitty fun...whatever your baby is in the mood for that day!
My cat is on medications, do you have experience with that?
Yes, we have a vast amount of experience with cat meds. In fact, some of our feline friends suffer from both diabetes and kidney problems. We faithfully administer shots twice a day for those cats with diabetes and even have taken clients to kitty dialysis. If you're away on vacation, and your cat becomes ill, we will be able to recognize the symptoms and get to the vet right away.
How much do your cat sitting services cost?
Kitty Kare is based in Yaletown. Visits within Yaletown are $20 and visits in other areas of Vancouver are $25+ (it all depends on how far you are). A second daily visit is $10 whether you are in Yaletown or other parts of Vancouver. Trips to and from the vet with your kitty cost $25+.
How long will you stay with my cat each visit?
cat sitting visits usually last between 40 and 60 minutes. It all just depends on how much love and affection your baby needs that day.
Do you charge for more than 2 cats in a household?
Yes, if you have 3 or more cats, we will add a small additional charge because we will stay longer to make sure everyone is well pampered!
Will you water my plants or pick up my mail when you drop by for a visit?
Of course. As long as retrieving your mail does not require an extra trip, we will gladly take care of any common "vacation-house-tasks" that don't take too much time away from kitty.
Reliable Cat Sitting While Your Vacationing or at Work
"Deborah of Kitty Kare has been a great resource for us for over 3 years. She is extremely reliable and conscientious. The best part, is that she cares for our two cats as much as we do! It's always a relief knowing Deborah is taking care of our cats while we're away on vacation!
Not only does Deborah do a superb job of looking after the "kids" while we're gone, but she also looks after our home. One time, our water pipe broke while we were away. Deborah took care of the whole problem, cleaned up the mess and didn't even bother us on vacation! She's a gem!"
